Minor Power Trip!

Last week, I got a postcard in the mail from Nielsen TV, informing me that my household has been chosen to complete a one week survey on the TV I watch. At first, I thought there was no way this was real. I mean, the Nielsen ratings? Does that even still exist? Apparently, it does. I got a phone call tonight, just like the postcard said I would. Sometime in the next couple of weeks, they'll be sending me a packet of information and a TV-watching diary to fill out from Thursday, September 25 to Wednesday, October 1. I think it's about time to get back into watching TV ;). I can count on one hand the number of times I've turned the thing on since May, and two of those times were to watch tapes in my VCR.

Two questions for anyone reading this. First, when does the new season of Angel start? Second, does anyone know when Adult Swim is on Cartoon Network anymore? I lost track of it long ago when they started switching stuff around.

I can tell you right now what will dominate my TV watching that week:
1) Anything Joss Whedon is involved with
2) Nifty cool stuff on Discovery, TLC, etc.
3) Anime on Cartoon Network (yes, it's evil and dubbed, but better than nothing)

This might be my only chance to make my voice heard by the media, and I intend to use it well. Here to represent the geek audience!
