I just dropped close to $200 on DVDs. (Credit card says, "ouchie!") Normally, I have significantly more self-control than that, but Deep Discount DVD is having a special promotion this week where you get 20% off of everything with the code DEEPDISCOUNT. Yes, this means Star Trek DVDs that can almost never be found for less than $100 are only $80. I stayed strong for so long, but could not stand against this. So my purchases today include: TNG Season 5, TNG Season 3, and BTVS Season 4. The latter was something I had been getting around to buying for a while, only cheaper now. I was only going to buy one season of TNG since I've spent so much money this month already, but I got a $65 credit on my rent (office screwed up and overcharged me) and a $20 cut on my cable bill. That alone paid for the extra season. Still, my wallet is smarting. But slowly, surely, the Star Trek DVDs shall be mine!

(I know I haven't posted in a long time, and a lot of big things are happening in my life at the moment, but I needed to take a leaf from ashfae's book and write about something that doesn't matter at all.)

I'll put together a post on what's been going on once things calm down enough for me to breathe again. Who knows how long that will be? In the meantime, I needed a trivial post.

Deep Discount DVD has been e-mailing me daily about this sale. Then it occurred to me that it could apply to Star Trek DVDs as well. I'm not made of stone!
