Not That I Have Time For This, But...

Thursday evening, I'm going to the International Film Series on campus to see An Iconvenient Truth (aka Al Gore's Global Warming movie). It's playing at 7pm and 9:15 in Muenzinger. Cost is $5 for general admission, $4 if you have a CU student ID. Anyway, I will probably go to the 7pm show, unless it is sold out. I don't really want to go by myself, so consider this an open invite. Will also be e-mailing this to some people who don't read LJ.

Life is extraordinarily busy right now, and I really shouldn't take time out for a movie (story of my life for the past several months), but I think this one is important enough to make time for. If you're interested in going, and/or want me to save you a seat, please comment below.

This movie is awful. Illyana and I walked out half way through it was so bad. If you've read anything about global warming in the past, you already know all there is in this movie, and most of it is just Al Gore being a popous ass. I don't say that lightly, I actually (before I saw this movie) like Al Gore. I've been to one of his speeches before and found him to be quite funny and interesting speaker, but this movie is just pure crap. He goes on and on about himself, and hardly talks about the science of global warming.
