Of Hairbrushes and Randomness

Just spent the last two hours cutting the stupid little plastic balls off the ends of the pins in my new hairbrush. Why did they start putting those things on there? I know that the pins can scratch at your scalp, but you build up callouses and get over it. Those little balls shred my hair like no other. I used to be able to get dog brushes because they just had the plain pins, but now they're even putting plastic balls on those! Now I'm back to human brushes again. Two hours with a wirecutter. So much for the other stuff I was going to do this morning. This is nice, though. I can't even remember how long it's been since I've used a hairbrush that wasn't missing half the pins.
