Jackpot at JoAnn's!
Jul. 29th, 2003 08:36 pmWent into JoAnn's today to pick up some red embroidery floss. Of course, I can never go in there without extensive looking around. As always, I checked the scrap bins to see what little remnants were there. There's never anything good...except this time. I found this beautiful scrap of shimmery lilac material. It claimed to be about a yard for ~$2. It rang up for $1 instead. I got it home, and it's significantly more than one yard. I wonder if this one was mislabeled...eh, don't care. Now it's sitting in the corner, taunting me. It wants to become a dress. I already have a pattern forming in my head, but much measuring and drawing will be required. Plus I will need matching thread.
