New Year's Resolutions
Dec. 29th, 2003 09:04 pmIt's that time of year again. Some years I make a lot of resolutions, sometimes only one or two big ones. I think this will be a year of many goals. I have hopes for 2004. Actually, I was feeling better about the new year before a whole bunch of stupid crap happened this weekend, but I'll only get myself worked up again if I rehash it here. So without further ado, here is my list for 2004, in no particular order.
- Buy a townhome
- Take a good, hard look at my career and come up with some short- and mid-range goals
- Keep in touch with my friends better (be more social)
- Get more sleep
- Keep my hobbies under control so they don't take over my life
- Figure out where grad school fits into my life
- Keep my place cleaner so people can come over more often
- Get a puppy (German Shepherd mix, of course ;)
- Create a new life plan
- Stay as far away from my parents' issues as possible
There are many more things I could include, but I think if I cover just these, it'll make for a pretty good year. What resolutions are you making this year? Consider one of modern society's oldest memes set in motion once more!
