Birthday Parties and the Evil That Is Comcast

I meant to post this on, oh, I don't know, Monday, but I'm lame so I didn't. Here's the deal. ashfae, enishi2000, and I are throwing a joint potluck birthday party on Saturday at 7pm at my apartment clubhouse. And all you crazy people on my friends list are invited! So please, bring some kind of food to share, but more importantly, bring yourself.

The address, for those who wish to look it up online: 4940 Thunderbird Circle is the Kimberly Court Clubhouse. I'd refer you to their website, but their directions suck.

Directions:
Somehow, find your way to Table Mesa
Get into the turn lane that will take you to US-36 West
Once you're on the onramp, get all the way over to the right to get on the frontage road
Turn right at the stop sign onto Thunderbird Drive
Follow this around to the left
Turn left at the first stop sign onto Thunderbird Circle
The clubhouse is the last building on the left
You can park wherever you find room on the street, and spaces 70, 71, and 72 in the lot behind 4820 aren't taken. Other than that, best of luck, and the Table Mesa Park 'n' Ride is only a couple blocks away should there be no parking or if you wish to bus it. Feel free to call me if you get lost. I've had the worst dropouts on my internet connection this week. Earlier this evening, the cable modem kept dropping out as soon as I tried to send any data across. So very tempting to just hurl it out the window sometimes. Hmm, seems to be working for the moment. Let's see what happens when I hit this button...

Alternately!

Get on Baseline. Turn south on Mohawk. Take a left onto Pawnee (just after you pass Kaiser Permanente). Follow Pawnee, which twists and turns a bit and then becomes a street running parallel to Foothills/I-36 (Thunderbird Drive, in fact). Take a right at the stop sign onto Thunderbird Circle. See directions above for the rest.

Thank you! I can never remember the name of that one street in the middle, so I usually don't try to explain that route to people.

Hey I just sent of Ashfae's B-day package priority mail, it should arrive Monday or Tuesday and when it gets there I added an extra copy of 'The Inner Light' the 6+minute orchestrated music for you so make sure and clobber her for it ;-)
