I'm Baaack...

willow_redToday was a truly wond'rous day. In fact, it went so well that I decided to come home early to make certain the day would remain as I remember it. The plan was to then sit down and spend an hour chronicling the past two days on LJ, but I instead spent that hour (and then some) battling with a stick of RAM and my mobo. One broken clip later, I have emerged triumphant with a system that now has 768 MB rather than 256 MB of RAM.
I am tired and must sleep now, but I will leave you with a few teasers about NSS, for which I hope to fill in the blanks tomorrow.
1) The thing I was most hoping wouldn't happen did in fact happen today, but it worked out okay.
2) Ran into several people who I hadn't seen in a *very* long time, and one who was totally unexpected but made my entire week (whatever you're thinking right now, I promise you're wrong).
3) The Broadmoor is that swanky, and even has fire pits outside that let you stay nice and warm while watching fireworks.
4) I don't want to know how much everything in the exhibition hall cost.
5) There are some seriously cool and down-to-earth (pardon the pun) high-ranking people in this industry.
6) If you're important enough, airport security lets you keep your illegal laser.
7) Buzz Aldrin is barely taller than I am.
