It's been awhile since I've done one of these.

1: Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4.
"This integration of old and new has allowed Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic areas to be subdivided into periods."

2: Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?:
A stool.

3: What is the last thing you watched on TV?:
I don't remember.

4: WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what the time is:
5:15

5: Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?:
5:04

6: With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?:
Vertical Horizon...though that's playing on my computer, so I'm not sure it counts.

7: When did you last step outside? what were you doing?:
Just finished a long walk around south Boulder.

8: Before you came to this website, what did you look at?:
Lord of the Peeps. It's funny.

9: What are you wearing?:
Black jeans and an old Dell t-shirt I picked up at a career fair long ago.

10: Did you dream last night?
I think so, but I've forgotten it now.

11: When did you last laugh?
About an hour ago on the phone with Div.

12: What is on the walls of the room you are in?:
A couple of calendars, printouts from The Onion, a Kenshin wallscroll, and a sketch of Saruman and Gandalf.

13: Seen anything weird lately?:
Last night: a cake shaped like a turtle with four plastic elephants on the back, carrying a cardboard picture of Earth.

14: What do you think of this quiz?:
It's a meme.

15: What is the last film you saw?:
Chasing Amy, again last night.

16: If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?:
A car for my parents.

17: Tell me something about you that I don't know:
My aversion to the telephone has returned.

18: If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?:
Reduce human population to a more manageable level.

19: Do you like to dance?:
Yes, but I don't get to go often enough.

20: Is George W. Bush a power-crazy nutcase or some one who is finally doing something that has needed to be done for years?:
If you know me at all, you know *exactly* how I'd answer this one....

21: Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?:
Lena, after my great-grandmother.

22: Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?:
I'm not really sure. Possibly Harry, since that was my grandfather's name, though I never much liked the name before reading the Harry Potter books.

23: Would you ever consider living abroad?:
Maybe, but I'd have to really love the place.

24: Will you pass on this survey?
Only if someone else does a copy/paste.

And now back to your regularly-scheduled Sunday, already in progress.
