I was going to write a real post this weekend, but found that I didn't want to spend all that much time in front of the computer. Instead, I spent some time catching up with friends I don't talk to often, as well as doing some sewing and knitting. For future reference: cutting and sewing foam kinda sucks. At least I'm done with that part now.

Anyway, I've made a decent amount of progress on my 101 in 1001 list, and an update has been long overdue. (Okay, just looked it up, and I haven't posted a progress report in over a month. Bad [livejournal.com profile] willow_red, no cookie!)

Added #42-53, still looking for ideas for #54-101. Made progress on #2, 6, 16, 28, 36, and 39 beyond what was previously posted. The highlights consist of me reaching the halfway point in paying off my second mortgage (w00t!), and getting a little over halfway through making the cat bed. Sadly, despite my attempts to work out on every opportunity, the weight stubbornly refuses to go away. Stupid genetics!

Can't help you with the sewing part, but cutting foam is quick, easy, clean and precise with one of those electric reciprocating carving knives.

I've used those before (when I was working at JoAnn's), and they're pretty nice. IMHO, the sewing is worse than the cutting. Anyway, I should be done with the foam part now. (And if it's a little misshapen, well, I meant it to look that way *cough*)

7 is all about you (when time and money are available simultaneously). As for 43, I sincerely hope we can take care of that one this summer :).
